The AWARE project

The AWARE project is developing a solution to enable the reception and processing of alert messages using the Galileo Emergency Warning Satellite Service (Galileo EWSS). Fixed devices, such as display panels, speakers, long-range acoustic devices (ACOUSTICS), indoor warning systems, and other connected devices, will be incorporated with this solution to alert citizens via audio, video, and text alert messages. Civil protection authorities could use this solution to enhance the reach of warning messages if there is no access to the telecommunications network.
