The consortium of the AWARE project proudly announces the launch of the AWARE Stakeholder Survey!
With the aim to better understand user requirements for the AWARE module, the survey invites all experts in the field of emergency services and public safety to share their knowledge and experience. Your input can help shape the future of emergency warning systems!
About AWARE
The EU-funded AWARE project is developing a module that can receive and transmit alert messages using Galileo’s Emergency Warning Satellite Service. This module can be fitted on display panels, sirens, acoustic devices and indoor warning systems, providing warning with text, audio and video messages.
In case of a looming threat, the AWARE module will send all citizens in an affected area – indoors and outdoors – a timely and accurate warning, minimising exposure to danger.
AWARE is one of the first projects to utilise Galileo EWSS transmissions for public warnings, introducing a major innovation in public warning systems. In addition, AWARE will facilitate the adoption of the emergency warning service by European Civil Protection Authorities, by performing activities in support of EUSPA and the European Commission for its deployment.
Fill in the survey!
To ensure that the AWARE module meets the needs of its users, we invite our network of experts and stakeholders to share their insights by participating in our survey. Your valuable input will help the consortium fine-tune system specifications, making the module as reliable and effective as possible. Together, we can enhance public warning systems across Europe and improve emergency preparedness for all!
